I haven’t reviewed these. Take your chances. I don’t endorse any of them at this point. Maybe later.

A really great thread of discussion here at Aaron and Stacie’s blog. Check out the Buddhist guy who loves Osteen!!
The Washington Post’s Story on Osteen. (reg) I said the msm would see him as a leader, didn’t I? Inspired by the immense influence of this web site. ;-)
Joel Osteen: The Prosperity Gospel’s Coverboy at Christian Sentinel. (This is the guy out to take down Hanegraff.) Joel quotes worth reading.
A fluffy short bio, but with the basic account of how Osteen became pastor.
A bunch of Osteen quotes, aligning him with the Word-Faith movement. You get some idea of why he quit preaching about Jesus when you read what he was preaching 4 years ago. (Look at the statements about Jesus at the end of the page.)
I don’t know what this is, but it’s $10 a seat.
A page promoting John Osteen, Joel’s dad and predecessor. A lot of sermon titles here, so you can get an idea of the change from Dad to son.
A pretty serious working over of Osteen’s theology and approach at Discernment.org.
The Amazon reviews of Joel’s book, with the usual apparent planted accolades.
Another Word Faith critique at Iconbusters.
The Lakewood Church Site
JoelOsteen.com You will find Jesus mentioned once on this site.
A discussion thread on Osteen that let’s you plainly read why people like this guy....and it has nothing to do with the Gospel. Reading this made my feel sick. This is gnosticism. Experience addiction. God help us all.

Resources related to Osteen from BHT fellow Joel Osteen
Here are my contributions to Prosper-O research:
1. 17 Sep 2003 Forbes special report on “Christian Capitalism.” Here is a link to the first article in the report.
2. Response A to the Forbes series at The Gutless Pacifist. Scroll down to the post “Joel ‘Discover the Champion in You’ Osteen.” 11 Comments.
3. Response B to the Forbes series by one Davie D at Joshua Claybourn. The final comment is worth the price of admission.
4. Perhaps you thought my Six Flags parody was lame. Well, dear reader, there IS a publicly traded company that is in the church growth business. Meet Kingdom Ventures, Inc., and track their financial performance.

KFUO’s One hour special on Osteen is on September 26. You may download.
If you find others, please send them to me.
