Peter Ould reports on moves to persuade the Conservative Party to adopt an official policy of reducing the abortion limit to 20 weeks (ideally as a staging post to a 13-week limit).

The campaign is being led by a Tory MP whose hatred of late-term abortion was fuelled by her experiences as a nurse (the descriptions of which in the linked post are quite graphic and distressing). More power to her elbow, I say.
